That was the chant in my head this morning when I woke up, at any rate. “Busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy busy…” Better than waking up with a Taylor Swift song stuck in my head, I suppose.
Anyway, I apologize to all of my affiliates and hostees and readers for disappearing for over a month! For those of you who have been checking back or keeping me on your affies list, thank you so much!
I’ve been working on other online things as well has dealing with a bunch of offline things as well. We have family from out of town staying with us, and they’ll be here for another two weeks. While they’re here, I’m practically not even allowed on the computer because I’m “supposed to be spending time with them.” I understand this, really, I do. I rarely get to see them because they live in the U.S. (for those of you who forgot, I live in Canada) and there are custody issues with the parents and all that jazz. But seriously, my little cousins don’t even want to see me 24/7, so I don’t get what the big deal is if I sneak onto the computer while they’re playing with their toys. The only reason I’m able to sneak on right now is because they’re at swimming lessons. Whatever. Parents will be parents and their rules will be dumb, right?
So as far as the site goes, my updates might be a little scarce for the next two or three weeks, but I’ll try to at least respond to comments and update my blog. For today, I’ve got some new icons up of Skandar Keynes/Edmund, Chris Pine/Captain Kirk, Russell Crowe/Maximus, and Johnny Depp/Mad Hatter. I’m kind of on a hero kick, and I want to do some more Alice in Wonderland ones now. (I love that movie.) Check them out here.
I might work on a site layout. I’ve had the idea floating around my brain for a week or so now, but I’m not sure if I’ll turn it into a new layout for PF or if I’ll make it a premade.

What’s your biggest pet peeve? Leave it in a comment, and if you have a formspring (and don’t mind me creeping it), let me know so that I can ask you random questions on there?
Personally, I have a lot of things that really just tick me off. Things that just make me want to strangle something. But right now, the one that’s foremost in my mind is when people aren’t as patient with me as I am with them. I don’t mind helping people out and answering questions and solving coding problems. I actually enjoy that part. But it really annoys me when people aren’t willing to learn or just get frustrated with me because they’re having problems or when they can’t wait patiently for a response when I get busy!
I do have site updates for you, though. I’ve got a new petpage layout up for you all to enjoy here (only one colour scheme each right now, though), AND I’ve converted a lot of the petpage layouts into actual site layouts as well. Just check the “site layouts” section under “premades.” Let me know what you think of them too! :D
EDIT: More site updates because I can’t think of anything new to blog about: added a bunch of stocks here and textures here and here. ALSO, a brand new brushpack here! It’s swirly and fun! XD

Conversations always seem to inspire me to post here. (Thank you, Ally!)
Anyway, I’m a huge procrastinator, like a lot of people my age. I’m not sure if it’s because we just haven’t had discipline literally beaten into us or if it’s always been this way. The thing is, I can work really hard and focus if I have to do it for someone else. Self-set deadlines never work for me, and I think it’s because I know that the only person I’ll be letting down is myself, and I don’t really care. :P But when I’m working in a group and someone else is relying on me to get my share done, that’s when I actually do stuff.
I think I need to spend a little more time looking out for myself from now on. Getting things done for me and actually starting to care about my own deadlines. I just have to convince my brain to see it that way.
Now that I’ve made absolutely no sense for at least a paragraph or two, I’d like to inundate you with random site updates. I haven’t talked about that stuff in awhile. :)
So, as you can see from the sidebar, I have two more lovely hostees whose sites are on the way. I’m going to refrain from giving you their links until they tell me that they’re ready to open. They will mostly be graphics/resources sites from what I can tell, but with a sprinkling of blogging and portfolio goodness thrown in.
I’ve also gained a few affiliates, and they’re just wonderful. :D Go check them out!
Now, remember when I was excited about this new texture I’d made and I was going to write a tutorial and everything? (Even if you don’t remember, just humor me.) It obviously didn’t happen, but that’s because after I came back and looked at it, I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the way it turned out. So I’m still tweaking it and trying to make it better before I write a tutorial on it.
On the bright side, I’ve found two other things I can write tutorials on, and as soon as I can find the time to take some screenshots (oooh, fancy!), those tutorials will be up too. Keep an eye out!
That said, does anyone have any suggestions for tutorials or css layouts they’d like to see? :)
